Certificate of Achievement

The Certificate of Achievement in Manual Therapy sequence is designed to provide an introduction to the discipline of Kinesiology by supplying information and practical experience to students interested in pursuing careers related to manual therapy, such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, orthopedic medicine and athletic training. A student who successfully completes a Certificate of Achievement will acquire a minimum of 72 hours of observation and practical experience working in an adapted physical education classroom and athletic training room. These hours will satisfy some or all application requirements for Ć¢??observation and experienceĆ¢?Ā for upper-division programs depending on application requirements.
