Technical Support Fundamentals
Course Description
This course provides an introduction to Information Technology (IT). Students will learn important facets of Information Technology including computer hardware, the Internet, computer software, troubleshooting, and customer service. This course is specifically designed to provide an overview of what is to come in this certificate program.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Gather the basics of computer systems, assemble one and install an operating system.
- Identify how the Internet works and its impact in the modern world.
- Identity how applications are created, how their code executes on a computer and successfully apply problem-solving methodologies in an IT setting.
