Increase External Resources to Support Innovation and Entrepreneurship Continue to partner with community non-profit organizations Continue to promote printing services to students ý College Printing Services Three Years Plan to Address Future College Needs 2009-2012 Objectives I To increase revenues by aggressively promoting the new Student Copy Center. II To continue the partnership with the Bookstore, and to continue to sell on demand course readers to students. III To continue evaluate staff needs. IV To continue using Xerox 700 Color digital printer for the printing of jobs previously done with the offset presses. V To continue to enhance Printing services ability to serve the Foothill-ý Community with the highest quality service and to generate more revenues. (On-going efforts) Future Challenges: Printing Services is now housed in the Baldwin Winery, which has only 2800 feet of production space compared with the former building of 4000 feet. Negative impact with the lost of space and the elimination of Offset presses. The reduced space resulted in the elimination of all the offset printing presses. Elimination of offset print presses will result in the loss of $130,000.00 in revenue to Print Serv. The items previously printed with the offset presses will be out sourced to commercial businesses. Outsource printing will result in additional cost to the school. Mortgage/Rent Printing Services should not have to continue paying the mortgage on the former Printing Services building or for the Baldwin Winery building due to the loss of $130,000 revenue stated above.
