°®¶¹´«Ã½ has received its first-ever grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, providing $150,000 for an ambitious, three-year effort to create and expand oral history programs focused on historically marginalized communities.

°®¶¹´«Ã½ has again been named one of the nation's top 150 community colleges by the prestigious Aspen Institute College Excellence Program, which has invited °®¶¹´«Ã½ to enter a $1 million prize competition for colleges with outstanding performance in teaching, learning, equity and other factors.

°®¶¹´«Ã½ has been awarded $1.55 million in state funding over the next five years for a new cohort program to support historically underrepresented students who want to transfer in STEM majors.

Bestselling author Reyna Grande will discuss her work and her experiences as an immigrant and first-generation college student during a special Feb. 17 appearance, hosted online by °®¶¹´«Ã½ College as part of this year's Silicon Valley Reads campaign.

°®¶¹´«Ã½ has won a $2.25 million grant to help coordinate delivery of many student services through the new Guided Pathways Villages, expand the current Learning Communities and create a new Ethnic and Pride Inclusion Center for historically underserved students, including LGBTQ+ students.

°®¶¹´«Ã½ College representatives took a stand against anti-Asian racism during a rally in Saratoga on March 27, joining a host of area residents and community leaders in condemning discrimination and hate crimes.
