Mike Appio, a longtime instructor and chair of °®¶¹´«Ã½'s Design and Manufacturing Technologies (DMT) Department, has been named this year's °®¶¹´«Ã½ College Educator of the Year by the Cupertino Chamber of Commerce.

A farmers' market at °®¶¹´«Ã½ College will continue to serve the community of Cupertino and beyond, with a new partnership between the college and the nonprofit Pacific Coast Farmers' Market Association (PCFMA).

°®¶¹´«Ã½ will host the Jan. 31 kickoff for the 2024 Silicon Valley Reads campaign, along with a related art exhibit at the Euphrat Museum and a separate campus event next Wednesday, Jan. 24, with artist and climate activist Favianna Rodriguez.

Bestselling author Reyna Grande will discuss her work and her experiences as an immigrant and first-generation college student during a special Feb. 17 appearance, hosted online by °®¶¹´«Ã½ College as part of this year's Silicon Valley Reads campaign.

The Euphrat Museum of Art has installed a series of colorful banners along segments of Stevens Creek Boulevard and Stelling Road - sharing art, poetry and three-word phrases about hope with anyone who passes by.

°®¶¹´«Ã½ College representatives took a stand against anti-Asian racism during a rally in Saratoga on March 27, joining a host of area residents and community leaders in condemning discrimination and hate crimes.

"Picturing Humanity: °®¶¹´«Ã½'s Veteran Scholars" is an exhibit of larger-than-life photo portraits that will introduce you to some of the student veterans at °®¶¹´«Ã½.
