There will be a maximum of 50 people permitted to attend each workshop. If attendance exceeds 50, we will ask additional attendees to attend the next available workshop.

Learn information on Post-Completion Optional Practical Training (OPT), including:

who's eligible to apply, when and how to apply, reporting requirements while on OPT, types of employment permitted, and more. The workshop will be followed by a panel discussion with F-1 students currently working on OPT.

CSU Applications Review procedures and requirements for your CSU applications.  Offered in Fall Quarter only.
Common Application/Private & Out-of-State Applications Review procedures and get help completing the Common Application for private and out-of-state universities.
Exit Workshop Is this your last quarter at °®¶¹´«Ã½?  Learn the steps F-1 student MUST follow when exiting °®¶¹´«Ã½.
F-1 Immigration Q&A When it comes to your visa status, DON'T rely on your friend's advice.  Get updates and answers to questions about your F-1 status from ISP immigration advisors.
F-1 Employment Overview of the different types of on and off campus employment available to F-1 students, including the basics of CPT and OPT.  Note: This is an informational workshop, not a job fair or placement service.
Education Plan Workshop Create or update your Ed Plan with guidance from an ISP counselor.  Get a head start on class selection for next quarter and check your progress toward transfer. 
TAP/TAG ISP counselors explain the UC TAP (Transfer Admission Planner) and TAG (Transfer Admission Guarantee). Offered in Spring Quarter only.
Health Insurance Q&A Learn the basics your health insurance plan (coverage, fees, claims, etc.) and ask your questions.
Writing tips for Personal Statements & Scholarships Get tips and guidance for writing scholarship applications & personal statements.
