    • (CAPS) - Based in San Francisco, the CAPS site lists research opportunities, the latest in government reports and many "Fact Sheets."
    • - Learn what HIV testing is, who needs to be tested, the difference between anonymous and confidential testing, etc. 
    • - An AIDS and HIV information resource.

    Mental Health

    • - Provides lots of resources for many mental health topics on the Internet.
    • - Focuses on depression and suicide. Resources for Veterans, too.

    Nutrition Matters

    • - CSPI advocates for safe and healthy food and publishes the Nutrition Action Newsletter .
    • - We don't always have to be worrying about dieting, do we? Tons of recipes, including low fat.

    Raves

    • - A nonprofit, harm reduction organization promoting health and safety within the rave and nightclub community.

    Sex

    • - For 25 years, the San Francisco Sex Information hotline has been providing anonymous, accurate and non-judgemental information about sex. Now they're in cyber space!
    • (aka The Morning After Pill) - Has lots of information about the various types of emergency contraception and a directory of providers.
    • - Question and answer services at Columbia University providing explicit and reliable sexual health information.

    Sexual Assault

    • - The Federal Government source for women's health information.

    Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)

    • - Great jumping off point from the organization that runs the National AIDS and National STI hotlines. Has links to sites about herpes, HPV, Hepatitis B, etc.
    • - Contains detailed information about the life cycle of herpes viruses, advice on living with herpes, managing symptoms, FAQ's, and links to similar sites.
    • - Free or low cost diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections. Site has loads of great references, too.

    Tobacco

    • - The California Youth Advocacy Network (CYAN) is dedicated to the support of youth and young adult tobacco control advocacy. Has a college tobacco control project.

    Veterans' Health Concerns

        • - Focuses on depression among college students and has specific forum for veterans.
        • - a nonprofit educational and professional organization through which California’s Veterans Service Officers help each other to do a better job of advocacy and claims work for veterans.
